Temple Run

Hey guys! I know I haven't blogged in a while but I'm not giving up on you. A lot's happened to me since my last two extremely short posts, but I don't find any of it particularly interesting, so I doubt you will.

A Paragraph About My Life Lately: I got a new guitar for my birthday, I'm currently playing Lemon Drop by The Pistol Annies, Cold As You by Taylor Swift, Drops of Jupiter by Train, and Last Kiss by Taylor Swift. I'm in my school play, Leaping Beauty and Other Animal Fairy Tales. Which is based on the book of the same name by Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked. The show is actually the story Leaping Beauty and the within that story, they tell The Three Little Penguins and The Big Bad Walrus. I'm in The Three Little Penguins and The Big Bad Walrus. I play the middle penguin. The other penguins and Mama Penguin are played by my friends I, L, and G.

Anyways, this post isn't actually about my life, it's about a popular game for iPads, iPhones, and iPod touch's, Temple Run.

Random Fact About Temple Run: My sister's friend's math teacher's daughter invented Temple Run.

Incase you don't what Temple Run is, here's a short summary of the game: You're running through an outdoor temple collecting coins. Sometimes you have to jump, duck, and tilt. There are weird sound effects.

Lately, Temple Run is one of the, if not THE, most popular game played on Apple products(it comes to Android this month). Almost everyone I know is addicted, including me. I'm pretty good, my high score is 3.3 million . Which, is better then most people's.

So here's my confusion: Why is a game that is as dumb as it's title applies, SO popular? What are your thoughts? I personally think it's the addictiveness of the game. And yes, I do know that addictiveness is not a word.

It takes place in an office building, where Taylor works. She's bored all day but looks forward to seeing her boyfriend after work. All day she watches videos of her boyfriend. In the end she sees him. Did I mention he's played by Friday Night Light's Zach Gilford (Matt!)!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE him!!!!!! Watch the video below!

Hey Guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, a lot has happened and have a lot of new interests. I hope you had a good thanksgiving. I saw The Muppet Movie. Here's my first new interest.

1.Tween/Teen Dumb Hollywood books. My favorites include:
Talent Series by Zoey Dean
Princess of Gossip by Sabrina Ryan and Julia DeVillers

The Sloane Sisters(I know it doesn't take place in Hollywood, but it still fits under this category) by Anna Carey

2.Country Music, and not just Taylor Swift! I like, in no particular order, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, and one song by Tim McGraw, as well as a bunch of other artists.

3. Taylor Swift News

Taylor Swift won three awards at the AMAs and one BIG award at the CMAs.

I'll start with the CMAs. Taylor Swift is the Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year!

Taylor Swift also went big at the AMAs with Artist of the year as well as Favorite Female Country Artist, and Favorite Country Album.
